Total Network Solutions are a proud member of the Fibre Optic Industry Association, as part of being a corporate member of the FIA, we are also part of the accredited installer scheme (AIS).
The FIA's mission is to promote standards to the benefit of all. The aim is to represent our members at national and international level the board is made up of industry experts who advise a promote the fibre optics industry and provides:
• Specialised professional services such as arbitration and auditing.
• Access to industry recognised accreditation schemes and professional development.
• Expert technical advice and guidance.
• An extensive library of technical resources.
• A diverse fibre optic community with members from every part of the industry.
• Opportunities for members to promote their products & services, collaborate and share information.
The Accredited Installer Scheme (AIS) provides a benchmark for best practice and helps installers improve standards and enhance their reputation. It also provides an added assurance for their clients.
But in our view the biggest advantage of the AIS is the ongoing relationship between the FIA and the installer as the scheme provides:
• Continued support in raising standards as practices evolve.
• Ongoing professional development and education
• Free access to our arbitration service to help resolve any disputes.
Total Network Solutions (Europe) Ltd managing director Mr Paul Forster is a board member and is currently the FTTx director for the FIA, advising members of fibre to the home, business and premises and works with the council and its members on standards for installation and civil engineering. Paul Forster is also a certified trainer for the FIA as our organisation is an approved FIA training centre who works with other board members of council who work on industry standards.
