TNS were contacted by a global organisation for the installation of network based services to their new office in the UK. Industrial Scientific Corporation engaged with TNS for a new Cat 6 cabling solution as well as a telephone system and broadband connection.

TNS displayed versatility and professionalism by offering a full turnkey solution:

Designed an IP VPN with failover utilising Cisco routers and two broadband connections
Installed 5 sip trunks for local calls in the UK and a fax line
Designed and installed the network infrastructure utilising Nexan’s Cat6 cable
Installed network GigE switches
Installed a fully managed phone system

The IP VPN design was a complex task as it needed to be linked to the Head Office in the USA and a European base in France. To work round this problem TNS utilised the NEC SV8100 system, this effectively tied together all locations within the same solution.

TNS now manage and support this broadband and telephone system.
